  Late July, our 8 day old daughter passed away. Every parents' nightmare. Within minutes we were told that our next step was to contact a funeral home. With no clue where to go, a friend mentioned MAK. Before even meeting with him, Jeff Kellam told us that he wanted to help us with the costs. The next day, we met Jeff to discuss our plans for our daughter. The entire staff was extremely friendly not only to us, but our toddler son as well. Jeff walked us through all of the details while being compassionate and acting more like family than a complete stranger. When it came time to sort out the costs, Jeff informed us that MAK would be taking on almost the entire cost. This left us paying a minimal amount to ensure our daughter received the highest standard of care. Jeff has reached out since that time because he is a genuinely good man who is part of a genuinely good organization.
